Deep Tissue Massage is a form of bodywork that aims to relieve tension in the deeper layers of tissue in the body. Deep Tissue Massage is a highly effective method for releasing chronic stress areas due to misalignment, repetitive motions, and past lingering injuries. Due to the nature of the deep tissue work, open communication during the session is crucial to make sure you don't get too uncomfortable. Keep in mind that soreness is pretty common after the treatment, and that plenty of water should be ingested to aid with the flushing and removal of toxins that will have been released from the deep tissue during the session. Our purpose is to prevent injuries, improve performance and general well-being.

Sports Massage

60 minutes: $138.62

Sports Massage is a type of massage designed for highly active people who engage in athletics. Engaging in sports is harsh on the body and can often lead to injuries in both the short and long term. Sports Massage enhances performance and prolongs a sports career by helping to prevent injury, reduce pains and swelling in the body, relax the mind, increase flexibility, and dramatically improve recovery rates. Sports Massage is also highly effective in aiding the rapid recovery of an athlete from an injury by encouraging greater kinesthetic awareness and in turn promoting the body's natural immune function. Our purpose is to prevent injuries, improve performance and general well-being.

Cancelation Policy

I understand that unanticipated events happen occasionally in everyone's life.  In my desire to be effective and fair to all clients the following policies are honored:

24 hour advanced notice is required when canceling an appointment.  This allows the opportunity for someone else to schedule an appointment.  If you are unable to give 24 hours advanced notice you will be charged the full amount of your appointment.  This amount must be paid prior to your next scheduled appointment.

No-shows  If you forget or consciously choose to forgo your appointment you will be considered a no-show.  You will be charged for the missed appointment.

Late Arrivals  If you arrive late,  your session may be shortened in order to accommodate the appointment following yours and regular charges will apply.  Please plan on arriving on time.

Extra charge may apply with overtime.

PT Evaluation / Re-evaluation

Your first visit should include an evaluation by the physical therapist. Your physical therapist will perform an examination to identify current and potential problems. Based on the results of the examination, and considering your specific goals, your physical therapist will design a plan of care to include specific interventions and will propose a timetable to achieve these goals and optimize your movement and function. Your physical therapist will likely provide you with instructions to perform exercises at home to facilitate your recovery.
